What a wonderful retreat as the beginning and graduating cohorts of the Heart of Christ Spiritual Direction came together for formation and training. Co-Directors and Facilitators Tesa Flemming and Jeannette Barbacane led us in rich explorations of our interior lives, growth in intimacy with the Holy Trinity, topics in Spiritual Direction, small groups, role playing, daily mass, adoration and shared meals. Dr. Gerry Rauch presented on the topics of Grace and the role of Virtue in Spiritual Direction. Michelle Greene explored spiritual themes of intimacy and love with God, healing and wholeness, grief and loss and suffering. It was truly an inspirational and impactful experience.
